  • There is a potential for a rooftop restaurant overlooking the Welsh Hills
  • Access to car park/ taxi drop off from St. Martin’s Way, off Hunter Street

  • 6 screen cinema to complement the one-screen facility in the new cultural centre
  • Located above the new indoor market and Market Square
  • Parking underground, accessed from St. Martin’s Way

New Market

  • New indoor market with high quality, uniform-design units and signage
  • Focusing on quality food
  • Outdoor markets to be held at various times throughout the year, next to the indoor market

Hunters Walk (Library)

  • Part of the vibrant new leisure quarter
  • Refurbishment of the library building in between the Coach House Inn and The Shropshire Arms on Northgate Street
  • Creation of a new walkway (Hunter’s Walk) linking Northgate Street through the building, to the new Market Square behind
  • New restaurants will be created within the building, on either side of Hunter’s Walk
  • Hunter’s Walk will be an early phase of development to support the new cultural centre on Hunter Street
