Multi Storey Car Park Concept

Fronting onto St. Martin’s Way the multi storey car park provides a dramatic new frontage looking out towards the distant Welsh hills across the Dee valley.
The mass of the building is softened by flowing organic curved lines formed in perforated bronze toned panels and green living walls representing a concept of from ‘town to country’.
At higher level a glazed section allows dramatic panoramic views of the welsh hills whilst a glazed circulation core allows elevated views across the Town Hall, Cathedral and historic Chester skyline.

Vehicular access to the car park is provided from an extended Hunters Street accessed via St. Martin’s Way.
On Princess Street vehicular access to the Crowne Plaza hotel and Hamilton Place is maintained whilst a new pedestrian route leads up to Market Square and on to Town Hall Square.
