Opened in late 2022, Northgate Phase One has transformed the city centre; benefitting from its proximity to established attractions such as the Storyhouse cultural centre, Chester Cathedral and historic rows shopping, it has become Chester’s main social hub.
The development as a whole, along with the market and car park have won numerous awards, including best Social Space, Taste of Cheshire and Best New Market.
Since opening it has become a firm favourite with residents and visitors alike.
