This week Zizzi opened its doors to a brand-new restaurant in Chester within Northgate.
Zizzi Chester which follows recent new openings in Leicester, Lancaster and Canary Wharf is proud to be creating 40 local jobs in total and will seat 122 customers, 92 inside 20 outside. The restaurant will be open to customers from 11.30am – 10pm, Monday – Sunday.
The new restaurant takes inspiration from modern British and rustic Italian design to create a laid-back cool interior which reflects Zizzi’s fun, warm and rustic Italian personality.
Customers will enter the restaurant via the outside cinema complex courtyard and upon arrival will see modern eye-catching instagrammable touchpoints – Zizzi neon signage and a brightly coloured swing seat with yellow foliage. There is an eye-catching unique retro cinema lightbox around the top of the bar with the slogan, “it all started with a Rustica”

Artwork has been designed by talented artist Natasha Russell, who has taken inspiration from the local film director – Wes Anderson for symmetry & colours. The distinctive art walls take inspiration from Chester Zoo dotted throughout the restaurant. Customers will see hanging ceiling roses & a checkerboard tile pattern linking to the traditional Tudor buildings surrounding the restaurant.
Customers will enjoy delicious menu options including the latest updated dishes: Hot Potato & Calabrian Sausage Rustica, Veggie Vs. Veggie Rustica, Lasagne, Goat’s Cheese & Caramelised Onion Arancini, Vegan All-The-Greens Risotto & Choc-Banana Brownie Sundae.
