Northgate has won its first award. The Northwest Regional Construction Awards recently judged Northgate as the Project of the Year for the Cheshire, Wirral and Warrington sub-region.
The judges commented that: “This was an excellent submission with strong supporting evidence from all of the project stakeholders. The project faced multiple challenges of operating on a sensitive historic site. Great evidence regarding collaboration – including co-location of team, principal’s meetings, stakeholder meetings and early engagement – was submitted. All of this was delivered in a culturally sensitive location. This was great project with success achieved through partnership and innovation.”
The organisations recognised for this outstanding award were Cheshire West and Chester Council, Vinci Building UK, AHR Architects, Gardiner & Theobald LLP, Gleeds, Curtins, Hoare Lea, CAD 21 Ltd and HE Simm.
Chester Market was also recently commended in the Royal Town Planning Institute awards for Excellence in Planning for a Successful Economy.
